Established around 1997 in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, and relocated to Flat Creek, Tennessee in 2006, Golden Gaits Farm is a 300 acre spread owned by veterinarians Bryant and Wendy Morton. We raise colorful gaited (and sometimes curly) horses, Friesian horses, Hereford and Hereford/Angus grass fed beef, poultry of many varieties, horse and cattle hay. We also own and operate Lynchburg Veterinary Hospital in Lynchburg, TN. Our other 'hobby' is Barking Pig BBQ where we compete, cater, and set up concessions at events. Our most important job is raising our two exceptional young men who are currently 15 and 18 years old.

The farm is not open daily to visitors, as we stay busy with our 'other' jobs too! Contact us if you'd like to visit and we'd be glad to schedule you. Please note that Wendy had a severe and rare SCAD heart attack in December 2018 and we will not be as accessible as usual.
