New Foals And Horses For Sale

All of our horses are sold up-to-date on all vaccines including Encephalitis, Tetanus, Flu, Rhino, Rabies, Strangles and West Nile. They will be dewormed and have a  recent Coggins before leaving the farm. Keep in mind that young foals may not have had their full set of vaccines before leaving the farm. We begin vaccinating at 5-6 months of age. A  deposit will hold a weanling until weaned, or a horse for up to 6 weeks, with a written deposit contract.

We have sold horses all over the eastern half of the country- to Tennessee, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Arizona, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Missouri, California and Louisiana. If you are nervous about making a horse purchase from us via the internet, we can give you dozens of email addresses and phone number references from happy foal and horse owners that have purchased from us....over the 'net and on the farm.

PLEASE NOTE: It is routine in the horse trading world for a seller to 'ask' a certain price and settle for a lower price. All of our prices are the rock bottom lowest price we will take for the horse listed. We do not haggle.

 ALL PRICES ARE FIRM!

Information and pricing on the broodmares of Golden Gaits Farm foals is on our broodmare page. Many of our broodmares can be bought!

NOTE: In protest of SSHBEA's  'Tobiano rule', we are discontinuing the registration of our foals with SSHBEA. We are also discontinuing our corporate sponsorship of SSHBEA. We will supply signed registration papers for SSHBEA on request.

Please see our Broodmare page for a complete listing of broodmares for sale!

HAUTE

Tietse X Lute

A filly! This exquisite Friesian filly was born July 25, 2010 in the middle of a very hot night. Her first day on earth was a 105' heat index day...so we named her Haute- because it means 'high' and sounds like 'hot'! And she IS hot! Already sporting a very nice trot with a beautiful sculpted head and neck...she is special! Her dam is an imported daughter of Lute (X Tjimme) and her sire is Tietse 428 (in the Netherlands). A nice mix of baroque and modern blood. Her registration application for registry and this year's keuring have already been sent in to FHANA. She is (reluctantly) being offered for sale at the right price to the right home!

Smoky black tobiano gaited curly colt

The First Aurora, GGF X Lucky At Last

Rosemary (Lucky At Last) has been one of our favorite mares. She is one of the few black and white daughters of *Star's Lucky Touch. Her dam is *Star's Sage. At a week overdue, she gave us no clue that she was close to foaling. After the terrible storms of 4/24 passed middle Tennessee, I went out to the barn at 11:00 to check on the horses and throw out some hay. Rosemary greeted me very enthusiastically when I entered the barn. I checked her udder and found no waxing or sign of impending foaling and proceeded to hand out flakes of hay. When I got back to her stall less than ten minutes later, she was laying down having this wonderful colt! I have no doubt that she waited for my nightly visit so she could foal in my presence. For that I am honored. The colt is leggy, quiet, curious, elegant and very curly. He is a smoky black tobiano and possibly homozygous for the tobiano gene. He will be genetically tested for tobiano. His sire is our cremello homozygous tobiano Model Champion TWH (see our stallion page for more info). The colt will be registered ICHO and NSSHA (Nat'l Spotted Saddle Horse). He is also eligible for SSHBEA and the part-TWH registry. If kept as a breeding stallion, he will throw his cream gene 50% of the time, resulting in palomino, smoky black or buckskin foals out of non-cream mares. His gait at one day of age is a wonderful, long-strided, head-nodding TWH type gait. The current pictures were taken when he was about 18 hours old. Stay tuned for more pictures and video.

Currently priced at $5500. A deposit of $500 will hold until weaning. (August or September) His price will most likely increase as he matures. With his pedigree, color, and gait, he is a SUPER curly stallion prospect!

"Geert"

Ta-daa!!! Here is our first foal of 2010 (enjoy it because there won't be many this year!). Geert is a very regal, proud Friesian colt....and well he should be! His sire is the magnificent Tietse 428- who resides in the Netherlands. His dam Karrman is a beloved riding mare and excellent mother. Geert was born 3/19/10 and immediately worked his way into our hearts with his huge 'presence' and beguiling ears. He will no doubt be a more baroque Friesian colt- his chest and neck are massive, and his legs are strong and stout. He is already showing off his Tietse trot. He will be registered FHANA and we plan to present him at the keuring this fall. He is being offered for sale and like Karrman's last gorgeous colt- his price will be very reasonable!

July update- Geert is maturing beautifully and has a breath-taking trot. He is old enough to be weaned but we are keeping him with Karrman for the keuring. If someone were to buy him and take him home now, we will offer him at a reduced price (he is already registered for the keuring and the buyer can take him themselves). Make us an offer we can't refuse for this stunning, showy FPS registered colt!

Tietse 428 X (Pilgrim X Melle)

The top 6 pictures were taken when this colt was less than 12 hours old, and had only been outside his stall for a few minutes. He is saying "Here I am, world...check ME out!"

Bottom photos taken May 2010. You should see him now! Stay tuned for new photos and video!

Generator's High Esteem and "Solar Flare, GGF" by The First Aurora

 SOLAR FLARE HAS BEEN SOLD!!

Ginger is a gorgeous, elegant sorrel mare with a flax mane and tail. She has some training under her belt, as well as some great foals on the ground . Her dam was a horse named Undercover Angel, with Midnight Sun blood. Her sire, of course, is Pride's Generator. She is registered TWHBEA, stands about 15'1 and is gorgeous! She is broke to ride, has had professional training,  (but has not been ridden in years) and was born 10/15/89. A severe foot abcess several years ago renders her mildly lame occasionally and so she would not make a primary trail horse. She's an excellent broodmare and part-time riding horse! She foaled this wonderful palomino tobiano colt 7/16/2009. He is show quality and will be registered TWHBEA and NSSHA. He is in the process of being weaned and is for sale for $1200 (TWHBEA and NSSHA registered). He is a submissive, quiet colt with a very pretty head and neck. Ginger is for sale for $1500. She is currently open but you can purchase a stud fee for her to either of our TWH stallions for $200 more. (Note: We paid $5000 for this mare just a few years ago!)

Sensational Stardust and "Total Sensation, GGF" by Belfast Bandit

(Sensation's Show Time X Generator Stardust)

"Sissy" is out of the same dam as Generator's Aurora. She was shown as a yearling and did very well. She was a NC State Fair Yearling TWH champion! She is an easy going, sweet palomino sabino mare with a nice long gait. She is not yet broke to ride and is about 8 years old, registered TWHBEA and SSHBEA. She foaled this curvy and walky tobiano/sabino colt by Bandit in June 2009. He is a flashy bay (or possibly buckskin!) with mostly blue eyes. He is a very 'LOOK AT ME!!!" colt and would do very well in the show ring. He is registered TWHBEA, NSSHA and SSHBEA. He is priced at $2000 OBO.

Toby spent the summer at Daniel Forman's barn in Mississippi and won the yearling halter class a a recent MS Spotted Show! He is tall, walky, gorgeous, parks out and is ready for the show ring. This colt has a nervous personality but he adores attention and needs someone who will spend time with him and get him used to scary monsters!

Sissy can be bought for $2400. She is safe in foal to Bandit (due late January 2011)

A PONY to ride!

Genevieve

This cute thing is 7 years old and stands just over 12h. Her sire is a black/white 15h Spotted Saddle horse and her dam was a Shetland type pony. We raised Genevieve and sold her to a friend, who still owns her, but Genie has come full circle and lives with us in TN. She is registered SSHBEA and NSSHA, and is broke to ride (has had 90 days under saddle and has been used as a lesson horse in NC). She was naturally gaited as a baby but now is mostly non-gaited. She is a black based silver dapple tobiano- possibly homozygous for spots! Email me for more information! She is currently being offered for $1000 (OBO)!!!

CURLY buckskin gaited colt

"Lucky Gold Bandit, GGF"

Alen's Belfast Bandit X *Lucky At Last

Wow! We have been waiting for Rosemary's first foal since the day she was born. What a wonderful start to her breeding career! This elegant guy was born 10/15/2008 and is a CURLY golden buckskin with two high hind socks and a lovely apostrophe on his face. He is friendly, spunky and has a nice four-beat gait. His dam is a daughter of *Star's Lucky Touch and *Star's Sage....some GREAT curly breeding! His sire is one of the winningest Spotted Saddle Horses ever. This colt will be registered ICHO (Int'l Curly Horse Organization) and NSSHA (solid registry). He is an excellent curly stallion prospect, should make a super show horse or a very unusual and flashy pleasure horse. He is unusually soft for a curly horse. Don't you just want to kiss your computer screen?

He is being offered for sale now for $4000 firm.

Generator's Aurora!

Chief Chatauqua X Generator Stardust

We purchased Rory as a weanling in 1999 and had him shipped across the country to be our herd stallion. As he grew he became prettier and prettier and we could not resist showing him in halter classes. This tall elegant palomino spotted horse stood out in the show ring and grew a fan base quickly! He is undefeated in SSHBEA and NSSHA Model Stallion classes- having won the Model Stallion Champion title 3 years in a row with SSHBEA and 2 years in a row with NSSHA. He also won a Top Ten ribbon at the TWHBEA Celebration Model Stallion class three years in a row! He has numerous halter blue ribbons and was retired from showing several years ago. He is one of the winningest SSH halter stallions ever. He is the sire of our stallion The First Aurora, GGF and has sired many colorful, tall, elegant foals. We gelded him in 2006 with the intent of using him as our farm trail horse. We have only found time to ride him a handful of times since then and feel like he needs a home where he will be used and appreciated! Rory is just over 16h. He is a quiet, easy going gelding that is a true pleasure to ride. He is smooth and sure-footed, not spooky, willing and still GORGEOUS!!! He is ideal for someone looking for a flashy, tall, trail, driving and/or parade horse. He has had several years' worth of professional training and was ridden regularly to keep him fit while he was in training for halter shows. He drives (although he has not been driven in years) and parks out. He picked up a habit of cribbing while he was in training, but it has not affected his health in any way (and he has not 'taught' any of our other horses to crib!). He is currently out to pasture with a dozen or more mares. When we took the pictures below, he had not been ridden in at least 6 months. He acted like it was an everyday thing, and took Bryant for a nice trail ride after the pictures. The next day we saddled him up again and I rode him around the perimeter of our farm (3 miles) with our crazy white English Setter jumping out at him from every angle. He never flinched, spooked, or bucked, and it was one of the most pleasant rides I've ever had. He is registered TWHBEA, NSSHA, RHBA and SSHBEA and is for sale for $4500 firm.

Golden Gaits Savannah

Alen's Belfast Bandit X Georgia Town

For color enthusiasts, this filly is the epitome of potential broodmares! She is a pretty perlino tobiano with a knock-out gait and an awesome pedigree. Her dam is the dam of The First Aurora (PWHAT Model Champion). Her sire is Multi-World Champion Belfast Bandit. She was born 4-21-08 and is registered TWHBEA and NSSHA. She is a quiet, sweet filly with a pretty face (check out her heart-shaped star and pretty snip!), gorgeous blue eyes, and a great swingy back end. We would love to keep this one, but she is related to all three of our stallions!  She has been DNA color tested and is AaCrCr and is heterozygous tobiano. (We also know that she is Ee, so she will throw palomino, buckskin and smoky black foals depending on the stallion's color genetics.) She has a wonderful thick wavy mane and tail and is broke to lead.

Her price is $2200 (FIRM!!!).

Bandit's Morning Glory, GGF

Alens Belfast Bandit X Revelator's Jacque Sue

Glory is a shapely buckskin filly with a star and a small strip of white on one hind coronet. Her sire is Multi World Champion Belfast Bandit and her dam Jacque Sue is a daughter of Rainbow's Revelator. Jacque Sue made us proud in model classes as a yearling (including third place in the yearling championship at the SSHBEA Fall Championship show and Yearling Champion at a very large show in North Carolina) and she has spectacular foals for us every year. She is the mare that people pick out of the pasture and say "Wow! She's REALLY gorgeous!" This filly is stocky, intelligent and bold. She was born 10/22/07 and is registered and DNA'd with TWHBEA. She is currently being weaned. Jacque Sue is also available for sale (see our Broodmare Page for more information on her).

Black n' Blue For You

Left picture taken October 2007, next 2 pictures taken 3-18-08 as she sheds her winter coat. She has really grown up during the winter!

Natural Stone X Fabulous Black Gold

Being fans of unusal color, we had to add a true blue roan to our collection! This 2006 TWH filly is an excellent mover, a very 'typey' Walking horse. Her bloodlines include Pusher's Big Score, Gen's Armed and Dangerous, Choice's First Cut and Mizzou's Threat. She is high-headed, loose moving and showy, and currently stands over 14'2h. She has a very small permanent scar on her right eye that does not appear to interfere with her vision. We plan to breed her to a homozygous black tobiano TWH when she is old enough. Because we desperately need the pasture space she is currently occupying with other young horse listed here, we are reluctantly offering her for sale. $3000 firm

    Liefde ("Lieffie")

Romeo de Roza (friesian) X *My American Blazer (curly)

Born 3/26/2007, Lieffie is a half-Friesian beauty! Her dam is our big gorgeous, nice-moving, bay tobiano curly mare Amy (*DCC Chief Windwalker T X ABC Ms Sharp Shooter). Her sire is the absolutely stunning Friesian stallion "Romeo de Rosa" (Click on his name to see his page. He is owned by Carousel Friesian Farm in Ohio).  Everything about Lieffie is Friesian-like! She could be a knock-out in the dressage ring ! This filly did not inherit her dam's curls, and can be registered with the Friesan Sporthorse Association and the Curly Sporthorse Association. She has that wonderful lift and expression of a Friesian and is smart and sassy. Her dam has a LONG mane and tail, and Lieffie is showing signs of being very 'hairy'. This is a SUPER dressage prospect! She is priced at $4500 firm. If you have looked at prices for tobiano Friesian crosses, you know this is a huge bargain! Lieffie currently measures 16h and is still growing.

PRICE REDUCED TO $3000 firm!

Her name means "Love" in Dutch. Lieffie means "Sweetheart"

Simply Stellar, GGF  $1200 Special!!

Generator's Aurora X Priceless Champagne

We were so impressed with Sarah's foal by Rory in 2005 (Priceless Gold, listed for sale on this page also) that we bred Sarah back and got a repeat performance! This friendly and bold filly was born 6/19/06. She is a spotted gold cream champagne. UC_Davis testing says she is ee-Aa-N/Cr. She is also tobiano and may have the sabino gene as well. This girl is elegant, walky, and  in-your-pocket (also in-your-face!). She has exceptional 'joie de vivre'! She is registered TWHBEA and NSSHA . ICHR and SSHBEA registration applications will be supplied upon request.  Her bloodlines include My Magic Marker, Pride's Generator, Wonder Liz, Ebony's Senator, Sun's Delight.

First two pictures taken at one week old. Third photo taken 8/14/2006.

This leggy doll is a gold champagne tobiano out of "Priceless Champagne" ('Sarah') and Model WC Generator's Aurora. She is just what we were hoping for with this cross, and has become Bryant's favorite horse with her wonderful disposition! She was born 6/14/2005. Gorgeous head and neck, tall (she is just over 15'2 h right now), colorful, extremely sweet, and loose moving. Goldie's pedigree includes Pride's Generator, Spirit of Evil Knieval, My Magic Marker, Glen Hope Gold Rush, and Sun's Delight D.
