New Foals And Horses For Sale
All of our horses are sold up-to-date on all vaccines including
Encephalitis, Tetanus, Flu, Rhino, Rabies, Strangles and West Nile. They will be
dewormed and have a recent Coggins before leaving the farm. Keep in mind
that young foals may not have had their full set of vaccines before leaving the
farm. We begin vaccinating at 5-6 months of age. A deposit will hold a
weanling until weaned, or a horse for up to 6 weeks, with a written deposit contract.
We have sold horses all over the eastern half of the country- to Tennessee, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Arizona, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Missouri, California, Idaho and Louisiana. If you are nervous about making a horse purchase from us via the internet, we can give you dozens of email addresses and phone number references from happy foal and horse owners that have purchased from us....over the 'net and on the farm.
PLEASE NOTE: It is routine in the horse trading world for a seller to 'ask' a certain price and settle for a lower price. All of our prices are the rock bottom lowest price we will take for the horse listed. We do not haggle.
Our payment policy: All horses must be paid in full before they leave the farm. A deposit equal to 10% of the purchase price or $200 (whichever is more) will hold the horse and take the horse 'off the market'. The buyer has 6 weeks of free board to pay for and pick up the horse. After 6 weeks from the deposit date, we charge $240/month board until the horse is paid for and picked up. This is the only payment plan we offer.
Most of our horses are not broke to ride.
If they do become trained, I will update the listing immediately.
ALL PRICES ARE FIRM!
Information and pricing on the broodmares of Golden Gaits Farm foals is on our broodmare page. Many of our broodmares can be bought!
NOTE: In protest of SSHBEA's 'Tobiano rule', we are discontinuing the registration of our foals with SSHBEA. We are also discontinuing our corporate sponsorship of SSHBEA. We will supply signed registration papers for SSHBEA on request.
Please see our Broodmare page for a complete listing of broodmares for sale!

Princess Aurora
The First Aurora X Midnight Princess
Check out this buckskin tobiano half Friesian filly by The First Aurora and out of our Friesian mare Midnight Princess! We bred Princess on a whim last year, knowing we would get either buckskin or smoky black, and spots. This is going to be a spectacular, showy, baroque type filly, and if she is like her sire and dam, she should have luxurious mane and feathers! She has wonderful suspension and extension, and is tall and showy. This cross is called a "Free Walker". She was born 6/2/11 and is eligible to be registered in several half Friesian registries. She is being offered for sale at $5000 (look online and see if you can find another spotted, dilute half Friesian filly for this kind of money!) She is weaned and currently being halter trained.

Cut Off Jeans
This elegant girl was born 4/22/11 out of a mare we raised, loaned out, and got back. "Cut Me A Check" ("Mia") is a black TWH out of our mare Generator's High Esteem. Her sire is The Stonecutter. The new filly is by Bold Blue Genes (by Bold Design). Both Mia and the filly are walky and showy! The filly appears to be turning grey! She has been weaned, is registered TWHBEA and is halter broke! $600

Kaatje!
Black purebred FHANA Friesian filly
Tietse 428 X Karrman (Pilgrim X Melle)
This is our third Tietse foal out of Karrman. Why mess with something that works? Kaatje (pronounced "Cot-yea") was born 4/20/11. She is leggy, spunky, curvy, somewhat baroque, and has a very fancy trot. With the influx of approved Friesian breeding stallions in the US, it is becoming more rare to find foals from Dutch stallions like Tietse. Kaatje's full brothers "Axel" and "Geert" are absolutely stunning, nice moving boys. Geert was Reserve Champion colt at his 2010 keuring. Email me for pictures! As much as we would love to keep this filly and add her to our broodmare band, she is being offered for sale for $8900 firm. She has been weaned and is halter trained. She is maturely into a very lovely, shapely lady with a gorgeous head.
Note- Her sire Tietse just lost approval on offspring with FPS. (Now instead of being in the top 1% of Friesian stallions, he is in the top 2%!) This does not affect this filly's registration, future offspring, or ability to be judged at a keuring. She is one of the last Tietse FPS registered fillies available!

Sensational Snowstorm
Alen's Belfast Bandit X Sensational Stardust
Wow! Every year Sissy wows us with her Bandit baby.....and then that baby usually goes on to do extremely well under saddle. "Dusty Bandit" (owned by Southern Star Stables) is winning numerous blues and World Champion titles in 2 &3 Yr Old Trail Pleasure and Country Trail Pleasure classes. "Total Sensation" (see below on this page) is Dickie Gardner's personal riding colt and won the only class he ever showed in. This is a buckskin sabino filly born during one of the coldest nights of the year in January. She is elegant, very feminine, extraordinarily gaited and colorful. She is mostly white with a buckskin bonnet and chest, and hazel eyes (we have tested her to have one cream gene although she appears perlino). She is very walky and long strided and is weanling halter show material! Stay tuned for video! She will be registered TWHBEA and NSSHA. She has been weaned and can be bought for $2000 firm. You can buy her dam (bred back to Bandit) for $4000 or get the three-in-one package for $4500!

Aurora's Lucky Star
Smoky black homozygous tobiano gaited curly yearling colt!
The First Aurora, GGF X Lucky At Last
Rosemary (Lucky At Last) has been one of our favorite mares. She is one of the few black and white daughters of *Star's Lucky Touch. Her dam is *Star's Sage. The colt is leggy, solid, curious, elegant and very curly. He is a smoky black tobiano and has been tested to be homozygous for the tobiano gene!!! His sire is our cremello homozygous tobiano Model Champion TWH (see our stallion page for more info). The colt will be registered ICHO and NSSHA (Nat'l Spotted Saddle Horse). He is also eligible for SSHBEA and the part-TWH registry. If kept as a breeding stallion, he will throw his cream gene 50% of the time, resulting in spotted palomino, smoky black or buckskin foals out of non-cream mares. His gait at one day of age is a wonderful, long-strided, head-nodding TWH type gait. The top pictures were taken when he was about 18 hours old.

Currently priced at $3500. His price will most likely increase as he matures. With his pedigree, color, and gait, he is a SUPER curly stallion prospect! Sensational Stardust and "Total Sensation, GGF" by Belfast Bandit
(Sensation's Show Time X Generator Stardust)
Toby is sold and now resides in Colorado!
His dam Sissy is still for sale- with a stunning filly by Bandit that can be bought with or without her! (see listing above for Sensational Snowstorm)
"Sissy" is out of the same dam as Generator's Aurora. She was shown as a yearling and did very well. She was a NC State Fair Yearling TWH champion! CURLY buckskin gaited colt
"Lucky Gold Bandit, GGF"

Alen's Belfast Bandit X *Lucky At Last
Lucky is one of our favorite Bandit babies....and he's not even a Walking Horse! This elegant guy was born 10/15/2008 and is a CURLY golden buckskin with two high hind socks and a lovely apostrophe on his face. He is friendly, spunky and has a nice four-beat gait. His dam is a daughter of *Star's Lucky Touch and *Star's Sage....some GREAT curly breeding! His sire is one of the winningest Spotted Saddle Horses ever. This colt is registered ICHO (Int'l Curly Horse Organization) and NSSHA (solid registry). He is an excellent curly stallion prospect, should make a super show horse or a very unusual and flashy pleasure horse. He is unusually soft for a curly horse. Don't you just want to kiss your computer screen?
11/2010 update: We have started breeding Lucky Gold to several of our fall-breeding mares. We have several mares already confirmed in foal. So far he is a gentle, and non-aggressive colt. He knows his job, does it and walks away. We are delighted with his temperament and in love with his conformation and good looks. SUPER gaited curly stallion prospect!
6/2011: Lucky has been started under saddle by Dickie Gardner and is back home. See the link below for video under saddle!
He is being offered at stud, on our farm, for the fall 2011 breeding season $350 stud fee! We have several mares in foal to him for 2012.
Lucky has stolen our hearts (as well as the heart of someone else!), and we are taking him off the market. Our plan is to breed him this fall, perhaps have some of his semen frozen for future use, then geld him to make him a more suitable pleasure horse. We have a potential buyer for him once he is gelded.

Golden Gaits Savannah

Alen's Belfast Bandit X Georgia Town
For color enthusiasts, this filly is the epitome of potential broodmares! She is a pretty perlino tobiano with a knock-out gait and an awesome pedigree. Her dam is the dam of The First Aurora (PWHAT Model Champion). Her sire is Multi-World Champion Belfast Bandit. She was born 4-21-08 and is registered TWHBEA and NSSHA. She is a quiet, sweet filly with a pretty face (check out her heart-shaped star and pretty snip!), gorgeous blue eyes, and a great swingy back end. We would love to keep this one, but she is related to all three of our stallions! She has been DNA color tested and is AaCrCr and is heterozygous tobiano. (We also know that she is Ee, so she will throw palomino, buckskin and smoky black foals depending on the stallion's color genetics.) She has a wonderful thick wavy mane and tail. She will probably mature between 14'1 and 15h. She recently spent several months with Dickie Gardner being broke to ride, then she was taken across the street and bred to Model Champion Khemosabi (tall, gorgeous black/white homozygous tobiano) for a fall 2012 spotted, dilute foal. She is confirmed in foal and is due late September 2012!
Click here to see video of Savannah at liberty November 2010
Her price is $4000 (FIRM!!!).

Above picture taken 1-18-09. Bottom photos taken 5-19-09 and10-2010
Photos below taken September 2011 at Dickie Gardner's barn. She currently stands around 14'3. She is a sweet, quiet lady under saddle with a flowing saddle gait. The trainers are encouraging her nice head nod and she could be a trail pleasure show horse!:
OTHER HORSES FOR SALE (not owned by us, not on our farm):
We will list your horse for sale here until it is sold for $25
